A PTI Businessman Paid 3 Crore 95 Lac Tax! 94% OF The Amount Of Tax Paid By All the National Assembly Parliamentarians Combined!
With CIRP's (Umar Cheema) report coming this year; we got to know how much taxes our politicians do (or don't) pay.
Jahangir Tareen (PTI) was shown to be the highest tax paying politician of Pakistan (2011) and Aitazaz Ahsan (PPP) stood on second place.
Now comes the news of a certain businessman in Karachi named Najeeb Haroon. Najeeb Haroon has a "construction business" in Karachi. He is known to be a very honest and noble person. He paid a total of Rs. 3,95,00,000 Tax which is 94% of all the taxes paid by the Parliamentarians of National Assembly!
According to CIRP a total of Rs. 4,25,00,000 tax was paid by the entire National Assembly while this single business man in Karachi totally outclassed them! Kudos to him!
The Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf should be proud to have such honest members like Najeeb (who holds the position of Vice President at City Level).
Najeeb puts to shame those "Businessmen Politicians" whose actual income and assets are much greater than they show. And who, thus pay much smaller amount of taxes.
